WHO IS HOLLIE LA?

Hollie LA was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where she grew up listening to the mad vocal melodies of Etta James, Michael Jackson, Teena Marie, and Madonna. From a young age, Hollie knew that music was her destiny. She began songwriting as a teenager and found that lyrics and melodies effortlessly poured from her creative energy. Music continues to be her favorite means of self-expression.

Hollie made her recording debut with Unlocked, a six-track EP that showcases some of her most memorable recordings. “I create and write music that reflects who I am and not what everyone else is doing at the moment.” Tracks like “Love Debt” and “Domesticate It” reflect Hollie’s sometimes saucy attitude. On the flip side, tracks like “Invisible Chains” and “Fame” expose a vulnerable side to the songstress.

Hollie LA’s noteworthy tracks have been featured on major networks such as NBC, BRAVO, MTV, VH1 to name a few and today’s popular shows - The Office, The Real Housewives of Miami, Dance Moms, Fashion Police and more. Her music is also featured in the Hallmark film Crush On You and the video game Our World. Hollie was nominated by the Los Angeles Music Awards for Pop / R&B Artist of the Year. She was a finalist in a singing competition put on by LA’s own Hit Radio Station, 102.7 KIIS FM. Hollie LA is also the chosen opening act for many charity benefits and industry events throughout her hometown.

Hollie LA’s ultimate goal as an artist is to be able to reach music lovers worldwide through the power of song and to make a difference. She is quickly becoming a positive role model for the youth of today. Hollie LA’s single and music video, “POISON,” is giving her fans a deeper insight into the true heart and emotion behind her songs. “If I can help just one person by seeing this video, then my mission is complete.”
